Technology is ever changing and Mediated Instruction sounds like a good technique to learning. I do know that not everyone learns at the same pace or at the same level and I think the Mediated Instruction will help with that.

Mediated instruction sounds okay with me.
But one thing I've noticed over time is that some people, not all, say they have 20 years experience with their job, when in reality they have 1 year experience 20 times over.

I agree that technology is needed, but I think at times it goes a bit too far. Technology is a great thing. I use it and sell it everyday, but when it comes to training, technology takes the personal touch away. I think you still need one-on-one training to really connect with the people you are working with. For example, it took me almost the entire quarter to figure out how to coincide the blogs and the podcasts. If I would have had someone to sit with me and show me how to do it, I would have caught on a lot faster. I just think mediated training is good in some instances and bad in others.

Mediated instruction sounds like a better route for most people. Like the other response though. Things are changing rapidly and fast. Having to keep up and maintain changes are the hard part. Everyone does learn from everyone...it always works that way.

Yes, technology is fast a-changing. I wonder if our world will be able to keep us with its rapid advancements. I believe that one day learners will be teaching the instructors. We all learn for each other. Some individuals love a challenge and therefore, they are willing to take the extra step to teach themselves. They learn all that they can and in the end, end up teaching the teacher. Even though the instructor may know more than you; they can still learn a thing or two from the learner(s).
